Mission
To provide a nice facility for our community to use. The Delaware Township Hall was built by WPA beginning in 1940 and completed by 1945. Since its completion it has been the home for many town gathering and events. It has been th site for 4-H County Events, Hometown Christmans, Voting Site, Girl & Boy Scouts meeting, Weddings, Blood Drives and many other activites.
In the past year the Delaware Board has replaced the windows for the upper part of the building. Updated carpet at the front entrance. Flooring in basement and painted and cleand up the kitchen.
At this time the building is badly in need of a new roof. The estimate is $30,000.00. Your match money would greatly be appreciated so the roof could be repaired before it starts leaking.
