Early Bird Donations:

August 23 - September 18, 2026

  • Mail-in donations — P.O. Box 124, Valley Falls, KS  66088
  • Drop-off — Donations may be dropped off at Delaware Township Library

In-Person Donations:

September 19, 2026 — 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Location: Jefferson County 4-H Grounds, 605 Ratz Street, Valley Falls

The in-person Match Day event will be Saturday, September 19th during Grasshopper Falls Day. To donate in person, head to the 4-H Grounds on Ratz Street between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. 

Come out to:

  • Visit with the nonprofits that are making great things happen in our community
  • Join us to celebrate Valley's 3rd annual Give Back to Valley Match Day!
  • Celebrate the community, nonprofit volunteers, and VFCF!!  

Online Donations:

Credit card gifts can be made online between 12:00 AM on September 19 – 11:59 PM on September 21, 2026

 $200,000 raised means Valley Falls can receive the maximum match! 

Match Information:

The Patterson Family Foundation will award up to $100,000 to VFCF! 

Every individual donation up to $10,000 per organization will be matched on a prorated basis. 

  • You choose which organization you want to support.

  • You can donate to multiple organizations at the same time during match day.

  • 100% of your donation goes directly to that organization’s VFCF fund.

Important notes:

  • The more people donate, the more matching money an organization can get.

  • There is no minimum donation.

Information for you to know:

  • The money earned by each non-profit group is an outright grant and may be used as they wish. Some may choose to establish their endowment, or use it for day-to-day operating expenses.
  • Gifts can be made by cash, check, or online using a credit card. 
  • When donating by check, please use one check.  Checks MUST be made payable to Valley Falls Community Foundation or GMCF to be accepted for deposit. A separate form will be used to indicate which nonprofit(s) will benefit.
