Specific Need
The Valley Falls Band program promotes exploration of opportunities inside and outside the classroom. These opportunities include:
- NEKMEA District Band Auditions in Eudora
- NEKMEA District Band Mini-Convention in Topeka
- KMEA All-State Band Auditions in Salina
- KMEA All-State Convention in Wichita
- NEKL Solo/Small Ensemble Festival
- KSHSAA State Solo/Small Ensemble Festival
- Middle Level Mass Band in McLouth
These are wonderful performance opportunities for students. Any donations will help with both travel and audition costs.
Any donations will also go a long way to help with Instrument maintenance costs, and any new curricular and library purchases in the future. Anything helps, and is greatly appreciated.
Mission
The goal of the Valley Falls Band Program is to provide students with an equitable opportunity to learn and explore music through band. This is accomplished through opportunities to learn and perform both inside and outside of the classroom. Valley Falls promotes a safe and equitable learning environment inside the band classroom.
