Valley Falls FFA and Ag Education

Specific Need

Valley Falls FFA Alumni Club is here to help support our local FFA Chapter and all Ag based classes at USD #338. This includes (not limited too) travel expenses to and from competitions, supplies needed for FFA Official meetings, Scholarships, classroom/greenhouse supplies, and official dress.

This year we would like to expand our contributions and be able to help fund the following:

National Convention in Indianapolis (Nov. 1-4, 2023) - Currently our officer team our the only members attending. We would like to make it possible to all members to attend.
State Convention in in Manhattan (May 28-31, 2024)
Judging/Completion travel fees
General FFA fees for students
Supplies for chapter events; pizza parties, ice cream for FFA Week, food for chapter fundraisers
VF FFA Chapter shirts; we want to raise money to gift one to each member
VF FFA yard signs; one for each chapter member to display proudly
Host a career day; showcasing the vast variety of opportunities agriculture has to offer
Grow our Scholarship fund. With class sizes increasing and FFA Membership increasing, our goal is to offer scholarships to all qualified seniors each year.

Mission

The Valley Falls FFA Alumni Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving and enhancing the experiences of the students of USD 338 FFA, Ag related classes, organizations and activities. The Club raises money through donations, memberships, merchandise sales and advertising.

Profile

We truly appreciate the growing support for the FFA and Ag program here in Valley Falls. This is only the third year and each year both continue to grow in student numbers. With the continued support of our community and alumni members, we can continue to advocate for ag education and the FFA program.
